This brings back memories. Oh, and makes me feel old.

Of course, most great shows back in the 70s, and into the 80s, tended to descend into camp. The Six Million Dollar Man was one of those shows. After having some of the best writing up front, it sunk into the lowest depths of unconscious self mockery. Yet, I have to admit, I miss that old show. And the above opening with that few seconds of phenomenal running, which they never could recreate successfully in the show itself, still stands as one of the best special effects filming not even recreated in this day of CGI.
