Another Run
I’ll let it speak for itself.
For use when I really don’t have time to figure out to what category the post should belong.
I’ll let it speak for itself.
I have taken a bit of a break from exercising. However, I started back up—nothing grand; nothing extreme; just a nice, simple jog. I am content.
Because you don’t get to eat my breakfast burger.
Admit it; it looks good. It’s a fried egg with cheese and a generic sausage patty from Walmart. The bun is from Kwik Trip. I air-fried the sausage patty and browned the bun on the stove. The egg was fried in a pan using a silicone ring. If you look past the burger, you’ll see a white bowl. It’s full of Malt-o-Meal with raw honey and cinnamon.
I took a simple walk, nothing too strenuous. I also decided to scope out some of the Superior National Hiking trails west of Norton Park, just above the DWP Trail. It was an enjoyable walk on a beautiful day.
Yeah, I took some time off from running/biking. But, back at it today. Stats below.
There’s a quote associated with Ram Dass; ”We are all just walking each other home.” But it misses an important point; until we all get home, we are alone, even amongst a crowd. It is when we are home that we are no longer alone.
So, here’s the question – where is home for you?
Home is not a house. It is not a place. It is a who. And my home is in Green Bay.
I miss her so very, very much.
Oh, don’t mind me. I didn’t get much sleep, so I’m emotional.
But I miss her so very, very much.
Again, don’t mind me.
Still, I miss her so very, very much.
Tina Rife, I love you.
I finally remembered that Tina’s van had been sitting in the parking lot at the repair shop where my Flex had its bearing repaired. I left it there when picking up the Flex – three weeks ago! So, I put on some running shorts and my ever-popular “Everything Hurts and I’m Dying” t-shirt and ran to get it. And yes, now I am really dying.
After 6 days, I decided to go for a ride/run. On to the stats.
Well, that and mowing the lawn. I’m exhausted.
