It was originally going to be blue cheese burgers, but neither Tina or I feel like cooking. So, instead, it’s Pizza Hut. Yeah, I know, healthy………
The Day After The Return
Did laundry, scheduled a brake job for the Ford for Friday, and had some damn good chili dogs for supper. Tina’s homemade chile tastes even better after being frozen and thawed out.
Now I’m actually sitting in a cold office after switching around the air conditioners. The large unit was too loud in the second floor bedroom. Meanwhile I had the nice, quiet small unit in the office. Anyway, now the air in here is chilly and noisy while the bedroom is getting nice and cool, and also being quiet.
Tomorrow we’re looking at an early run to St. Paul to visit the Como Zoo and Conservatory. Hoping to beat the weather. They’re calling for storms down in the cities at 2:00 PM.
Back!
Exhausted but back. Green Bay was wonderful, Tina’s mother was a wonderful host, and the weather cooperated. We even managed to get the van unloaded and stuff put away. As per usual there’s always something forgotten. In this case I left my iPhone charge adapter and cord at her mother’s. Oh well. I guess it’s off to Best Buy to acquire a new one.
Road Trip!
Heading to Gwinn MI to attend Tina’s family reunion on the 4th! But first we are going to Green Bay to stay with her mother. But, I’ve got my laptop so there still should be the occasional post and visit to Facebook. You all have a great Holiday Weekend. I’d tell you to behave, but I know better. So, best behavior instead, please. Hopefully your best behavior won’t result in the end of Western Civilization as we know it.
Another Step Completed!
Alright! My University of Minnesota GMail account is now set up and running! Yaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Went for a Run
Made myself do a 3.21 mile run today after work. So, that means as I type this I am exhausted. Yet, despite being exhausted I still did the dishes and prepared the coffee pots for tomorrow morning. Yes, doing the dishes just made me sweat more. I use straight hot water when washing dishes so I do the wimpy thing and wear insulated rubber Playtex gloves. Nice thing about using straight hot water is they dry quicker after rinsing.
Next? Shower then bed. Oh, but probably an Italian Ice before all that.
Night!
Another Morning!
I managed a damn good night sleep. Woke up refreshed and full of energy. So, I am hopeful for today.
On another, totally different, subject – I signed up for college the other month. Last night I registered for an online class. I’m still working on the registration for admission into the specific college; I have to get a hold of my high school transcripts. That’s a scary proposition as I graduated over 42 years ago, and then just barely.
Anyway, another fine adventure I’ve set for myself.
Morning!
So, despite a bad night’s sleep I still managed to get up early enough to do my morning routine. Now, of course, it’s off to the shower. Hopefully my day goes better than for the person whom the ambulance just delivered to the hospital a few minutes ago.
You all have a good day as well. Grace out people. Grace out.
GoT!
Now, that was one hell of a cliff hanger!
Winding Down
Winding down the day. Had some excellent blue cheese and mushroom burgers that Tina made up and I fried. With a pasta salad. An excellent Sunday night meal. Now I’m just waiting for the sixth season’s last episode of “Game of Thrones.” It should be interesting to see how it ends. I would have thought the battle scenes in the last episode would have been great season enders, but that’s not been the manner of this series since the beginning. They craft the best cliff hangers.
