I had three response assignments needing to be done by 11:59 PM. And they are all now completed. I can rest for the remainder of the night.

I had to interview a teen between the ages of 13 and 17. As I’m a 57-year-old man, that age group is not one I interact with often. My choices were slim to none. But, one of those choices was my 17-year-old niece. The interview was around her online social media use. I managed to write a 3 and a half page (Arial, 12 pt font, double-spaced) paper. I feel pretty confident about how I did. Now, I have to read someone’s post for this week’s subject and write a response.
I should be reading and completing a quick assignment for one of my classes, and instead, I’ve been surfing Facebook and playing chess. But, that’s enough of that, time to get to work.
Me, not you.
Sheesh.
Update: Okay, okay. I successfully avoided school work avoidance. My assignment due Friday night at 5 to midnight has been completed and turned in. Now get off my back about it. And get off my lawn!
Now, how about you all just get off my back about homework, okay?
Jerks.
Yes, I am supposed to be working on my school assignments. So, that means cleaning my office and desk.
Sigh.
I blame you.
On the school front, I continue to complete my work on time and not at the last minute. Hopefully I can continue that trend. Also, I managed to get up early enough to journal. It’s been a while. Once a part of my daily morning routine, I had put it aside to concentrate on school work. However, it soon became apparent I wasn’t really getting up and doing school work anyway. So, this morning I reinstated morning journal writing. Surprisingly I found I had time for both the journal and my school work. And the workout!
Who knows how long this will last. But, I seem to have the energy, so I’m not going to let it go to waste. For all I know, tomorrow I’ll be back to my usual slacker self.
